Samantha in Eugene, Oregon: Any scoop on Heroes? Is Niki coming back?

If you threatened to electrocute me with your lightning powers, I’d say…no. But I’d also tell you that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of Ali Larter. I’m hearing that the plan as of the last time the writers met up (prestrike) was for Niki to be dead—but for an alter ego to take over. Not Jessica, not the whipped-cream chick from Varsity Blues, and that leaves…come on, you can guess it! It’s someone we’ve seen before. Of course, all that is subject to change due to the current holding pattern.

Here is the Sypnosis for the mid season/season finale and boy does it sound awesome! (Highlight to Read)…

IT’S HERO VS. HERO AS THE SERIES’ “VOLUME II: GENERATIONS” COMES TO AN EXPLOSIVE, BLOODY FINISH — Deep below Primatech Paper in Odessa, TX, Peter’s (Milo Ventimiglia) reunion with Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) turns violent when the brothers, Matt (Greg Grunberg) and Hiro (Masi Oka) all clash thanks to Adam (David Anders) and his pursuit of the deadly Shanti Virus. After watching his heroic cousin captured by a street gang, Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey) turns to the one person who can help him save Monica (Dana Davis) — his mom (Ali Larter). Meanwhile, Maya (Dania Ramirez) tragically learns how much of a monster Sylar (Zachary Quinto) really is during his kidnapping of Molly (Adair Tishler) and Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy). Meanwhile, Elle (Kristen Bell) decides to play hero to get back into her father’s (Stephen Tobolowsky) good graces. Jack Coleman, James Kyson Lee and Hayden Panettiere also star.

From Kristin

Victoria in Nashville, Tennessee: Are Maya and Sylar headed for a romance? Or will Sylar kill her? I hope not! Thanks! (Highlight below!)

Sylar and Maya are most definitely headed toward coupledom, with him using her and her abilities as a shiny new toy. While this sucks for her, it will mean a shirtless Zach Quinto scene very soon, and for that I say: God bless you, Tim Kring. As for your other question, it might not be an either/or situation. I’m just sayin’, who’s to say he can’t do both?!

4 Months Beeman… by Damien

Greg Beeman posted a blog about the new episode “4 months ago” and here is an excerpt…

One of the fun things that we do on HEROES, is that we frequently open an episode at the exact minute, or perhaps a minute before the end of the previous episode. In episode 7 Peter re-appeared in the present having abandoned Caitlin there. He screamed “Caitlin” and fell to his knees and we went to commercial. Later, after the commercial break and several scenes, we ended the show on Peter shooting a bolt of energy at Adam. Well, in this one, I had the idea of combining both of those two, previously separated moments, into one. After the “previously on heroes” segment, we come up on a shot of Peter, seen from above. Using a techno-crane, which is a crane with a telescoping arm – a device that can, effectively, both crane and dolly from a fixed platform, I moved through all of the previously seen moments in one unbroken shot. I wanted to do a long take to start the episode, because I thought it would give the viewers a sense of things happening in real time – which is an important theme of the episode.

THE CLOCK TURNS BACK FOUR MONTHS AS THIS SEASON’S SECRETS ARE REVEALED — LEONARD ROBERTS (”D.L. HAWKINS”) RETURNS — When the clock turns back four months for all of the Heroes, Nathan pays a terrible cost for his heroic actions. While Peter survives his detonation over New York City, the Company “bags” him as a threat to the world, eventually leading to violent confrontation with Elle (Kristen Bell) and the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis). D.L. (Leonard Roberts) makes the ultimate sacrifice for Niki (Ali Larter) and Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey). Maya (Dania Ramirez) horrifically manifests her dark powers for the first time, driving her and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) to America for help. A mysterious, yet familiar face is introduced. David Anders, Jack Coleman, Dana Davis, Greg Grunberg, James Kyson Lee, Zachary Quinto, Sendhil Ramamurthy also star. Carlon Jeffery, Nichelle Nichols and Stephen Tobolowsky guest star.

Some new stuff (highlight) from Kristin over at E!

Elle Is Super Kinkay: In ep 8, which flashes back four months, just wait till you see how sadistic our darling Kristen Bell can be as she gleefully zaps and zings Peter. Oh, and FYI, their lips might kinda sorta meet. And oh yeah, I might freak. I mean, Veronica and Jess lip-locking? Hello? That’s the stuff of TV legends!

Maya Is Super Bad: And not in a fun Michael Cera of Superbad way—more like a Bill from Kill Bill kinda way. Just wait till you see what she did four months ago! You’ll think her brother is a saint.

Nathan Is Super Lucky: You know that creeptastic burned dude Mr. Petrelli keeps seeing in the mirror? Sources confirm to me that’s most definitely Nathan just a few months back, and the reason he looks so good is that (a) Adrian Pasdar is genetically blessed and (b) there’s a cool new “cure” of sorts that could do a whole lotta people some good—including Nathan and, I don’t know, perhaps Isaac and D.L. and Simone and Daddy Suresh, to name a few.

Kensei Is Super Old: 400 years old and he looks that good without a smidge of Botox? No fair! And he might even have picked himself up an Anglo name! You’ll see very soon, and so will Peter, who gets a new bunkmate.

A Hero Is Super Dead: Sylar’s gonna kill a Hero. A non-Hero’s gonna kill a non-Hero. And then Sylar’s gonna kill another Hero. Yeah, news flash: The guy’s still ridonkulously evil. Don’t let that shiny new Mylar fool you!
