Zach Quinto

Zach recently sat with FHM and spoke about his role in the new star trek movie and there is a special cover that you can order through the internet.

Currently filming aboard the original Enterprise, the man playing Starfleet’s pointiest-eared Science Officer was never what you would call a hard-core Trek follower.

“I was exposed to Star Trek when growing up,” he says. “I watched some episodes and a couple of movies, but I was never fanatical.”
Not that he’s biting the hand that feeds him, as he explains the attraction of acting up the fantastical.
“There’s a core faith in the human condition that exists in a lot of science fiction, but in particular Star Trek and Heroes,” says the sometime Sylar. “And I don’t think there’s any mistake I’m aligned with that.”

Hayden is Wanted By the Cops… by Damien

Hayden Panettiere

But don’t worry she is wanted by the police in Japan for what she did over there for saving the whales which ended in a confrontation between her crew and the fisherman which also resulted in Hayden crying…

An arrest warrant has been issued in Japan for Hayden Panettiere, the Heroes star says in an interview.

“I learned today that I have an arrest warrant out for me in Japan because of what I did for Save the Whales,” Panettiere, 18, is quoted as telling E! News.

Late last month, the actress-activist participated with others in a confrontation with fisherman during a dolphin hunt.

Asked what the repercussions might be from the warrant, Panettiere said, “Potentially jail, but I doubt it. … I guess they could come here and get us, but probably not.”

On Oct. 30, Panettiere joined other activists in paddling on surfboards into a cove near Taiji in southwestern Japan, in an attempt to interfere with a dolphin hunt there. The incident drew worldwide attention when video of it – including footage of Panettiere weeping on shore after being turned back – reached the Internet.

Would Do It Again
Panettiere said the arrest warrant does not faze her. “I’d do it again,” she said of the protest. “Very possibly, might do it again.”

The actress added that the personal risks involved paled in comparison to the potential good that could come from the activists’ actions.

“I was very excited that people were interested in what we did,” she said. “In [Hollywood], you tend to only get publicity for not wearing underwear or going to rehab.”

Greg Chats to Buddy… by Damien

Greg Grunberg recently sat down with BuddyTV to chat about the Writers Strike and about the show…

First off, I just want to ask, the writers’ strike is fresh in everyone’s minds. I’m wondering, how is that affecting Heroes and the production?

Well, it’s interesting, we got a really early jump on the season, the writers did at least, we were way ahead which is a really good thing for awhile. But as you know in TV, as soon as the episodes start airing, it quickly catches up to you. We had a couple extra scripts but now we’re pretty much caught up and I hope this thing gets resolved very quickly because we all want to get back to work. We’re still shooting, but we have another couple weeks and then we go down because the writers don’t have any finished. You know, they have, basically a break-down and some outlines of the next few scripts, but nothing complete enough for us to keep shooting. It’s frustrating because we’ve been

With your character this season, I was at least interested in because your character exhibits the same powers as his father, and that’s not always the case with some of the heroes and parents and their children, and I’m wondering if that’s an issue that gets addressed later in the season?

It does, and you know, you don’t really know if my father is running scared, I mean, he mentions it. First of all, let’s give a HUGE shout out to Alan Blumenfeld who played my father on Felicity, he was so incredible on that show, and then I know personally how deep and scary he can be in other things he’s done, so I went to Tim Kring and I said, “You HAVE to read Alan Blumenfeld,” and he knew his work of course, Alan’s been on a million things, but when they brought him in, it was like: boom, done. So, I’m so happy to be working with him, and I think it’s really interesting that a guy like my character, there’s so many secrets, he doesn’t know what the hell is going on.

Kring Says Sorry… by Damien

Tim Kring

EW sat down with Tim Kring the creator of Heroes to ask him about those rumours of him chucking Heroes in.

THE PACE IS TOO SLOW ”We assumed the audience wanted season 1 — a buildup of intrigue about these characters and the discovery of their powers. We taught [them] to expect a certain kind of storytelling. They wanted adrenaline. We made a mistake.”

THE WORLD-SAVING STAKES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED SOONER The premonition of nuclear apocalypse created a larger context that unified every story line last season. Kring now sees that Volume 2 (the first 11 episodes of season 2) would have been better served if Peter’s vision of viral Armageddon had appeared in the season premiere rather than episode 7. ”We took too long to get to the big-picture story,” he says.

THE ROOKIES DIDN’T GREET THEMSELVES PROPERLY New Heroes Monica (Dana Davis), Maya (Dania Ramirez), and Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) ”shouldn’t have been introduced in separate story lines that felt unattached to the show. The way we introduced Elle (Kristen Bell) — by weaving her in via Peter’s story line — is a more logical way to bring new characters into the show.” (That said, Kring says a few newbies won’t make it beyond this second volume, which wraps Dec. 3.)

Nichelle Nichols May Have Power?… by Damien

TV Guide recently interviewed Nichelle Nichols about Heroes and she may of revealed that later on she may have a power?!?…

“I could relate to [Nana] so powerfully,” says Nichols, “how she has stood tall. [In the role] I’m a strong woman who’s gone through an awful lot and has lost her daughter, and is now raising and providing a home for these two beautiful grandchildren.” Nana hasn’t exhibited any special Heroes abilities yet, but don’t count it out. Though if she has any preference about what kind of power she’d like to have, Nichols isn’t saying. “I’m going to keep that under my belt. I don’t want to jinx it.”
