Kristen Bell: I start in episode five, and I’m not in six or seven. (TV Addict note: That blows!) Episodes 8 and 9 have a lot of Elle. A few of the story-lines revolve around her. I have a lot of stuff and I can’t wait to see how it plays on screen.Kristen Bell: The character I’d like to most interact with on and off screen is Zachary Quinto. We’ve been friendsfor 10 years and he’s such an amazing person. I would love to see Sylar and Elle face off one day. As per my power, I’d love the power of multiplicity. I’d love to be in two places at once.Tim Kring: We will be seeing more of the final five people in the photo (the older generation). The photo actually had a life of its own. It was very difficult to get all the actors lined up. And yes, the photo is as accurate as we could make it. For instance, the woman in the photo who looked an awful lot like Joanna Cassidy was indeed Joanna Cassidy.

Kristen Bell:
I was a huge fan of HEROES. I watched it from its premiere episode. I joked with the writers that HEROES was always the water-cooler conversation on the set of VERONICA MARS. They joked that VERONICA MARS was always the water-cooler talk around the HEROES set.

Tim Kring: One of the hallmarks of our show is that nobody is who they seem to be. West may not be good for Claire. With Mohinder and Matt’s story, we wanted to do our little version of MY TWO DADS. One of the interesting things that’s happening this season is the joining of characters we didn’t see last year. Mohinder and Matt is one, Matt and Nathan last night. Suresh and H.R.G. We’re always looking to shake things up.

Tim Kring: Kristen’s character was created before we cast Kristen. But when you did an actor, especially one who’s work is familiar to us you try and tailor the character to her.

Kristen Bell: There was definitely anxiety about joining the cast, but nothing about joining the cast has been hard. They are some of the nicest people I’ve ever worked with. They’re an ensemble that really supports each-other.

Tim Kring: Yes, on a show like HEROES you have to be able to fold people in and out so the audience should fully expect to see characters leaving the show in the future.

Kristen Bell: It’s been so much fun playing the role of Elle. I’ve always wanted to play someone who didn’t have the brightest and shiniest of intentions.

Kristen Bell: My character Elle has a lot of information about Peter’s past.

Kristen Bell: Elle has ties to HRG and to Claire and there’s going to be a very interesting dynamic between her and Claire. There’s going to be a deeper relationship than what fans may be expecting. Elle also has ties to Suresh as well. And she’s a little messed up in the head. She doesn’t have many boundaries which I think is what makes her so interesting. Elle very much enjoys her powers and the emotional power it gives her.

Tim Kring: Elle is tied very closely to The Company. And she acts as a cautionary tale to the rest of the HEROES.

Tim Kring: We will see Matt Parkman’s wife again shortly. But there’s clearly a mystery as of now — there won’t be after the next couple of episodes — as to what happened in the four months following the season finale.

Kristen Bell: I do keep in touch with my former MARS cast members. I actually just came from lunch with Ryan Hansen. I haven’t caught Jason’s show but I have been TiVo’ing it. It’s also funny how many people on MARS are working on MOONLIGHT.

Kristen Bell: The media might have gotten a little ahead of themselves. I had been spoken to about doing a role on LOST, but I wasn’t officially offered one. It would have been a wonderful opportunity, but I’ve been such a big fan of HEROES, this would have been the dreamiest situation ever.

Tim Kring: We actually are not a show that tries to keep answers away from the audience. Are sort of feeling is that no answer is so precious that we can’t tell the audience what it is. That being said, there’s a certain amount of fun in drawing things out that it keeps its interest. This season we’ll have multiple volumes, this season ends on episode 11. Every question that is raised will be answered at the end of the episode 11. The HEROES make it to Canada two weeks from now.

Kristen Bell: My Guilty Geeky Pleasure: Comic Con. I love going around and getting photos with people who get dressed up in costume. On TV right now, Love PUSHING DAISIES, THE OFFICE, NBC’s shows CHUCK, HEROES and JOURNEYMAN. Love BBC America. LITTLE BRITAIN. Reruns of AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS. That’s my geekiest guilty pleasure!

Kristen Bell: I would definitely be up for a long term arc, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I won’t be killed. Right now I’m signed on for 13 episodes. At the end of the 13 we’ve decided to have a pow-wow and sit down and see if it makes sense for me to continue.

Kristen Bell:
GOSSIP GIRL has been great. I’ve known Josh Schwartz for a bit. It’s an easy deal. I’ve always dreamt about having a job I can show up in my jammies. I love and support Josh and it’s been a lot of fun. And there are no plans of me making an on-camera appearance.

Tim Kring: One of the problems about starting a season is that you have to start everything again. We’ve now set into a pattern of telling fewer stories. One of the pressures with that is that it’s a balancing act. People coming in and people coming out. The audience has to get use to the idea that not everybody will be in every episode.

Kristen Bell: I miss playing Veronica so badly. I miss the writers, the crew, actually playing the character. It just clicked, and playing her for so long, it was so nice. It’s not only easy after a while it’s really fun.

Kristen Bell: She’s a fierce and intense personality. When she wants something, she wants it now. Which is good when you’re working with the good guys, and really bad when working with the bad guys. She doesn’t no right from wrong. But I think you’ll sympathize with her because she was raised by The Company. Her childhood really messed her up!

Kristen Bell: If Rob invites me to mow his lawn I’ll consider it. I’ve heard rumours of a comic book, I know Rob is a very busy man. I would not be opposed to be involved with a comic book.
